She shares too much.
Vermont is stunning when it puts on it's fall apparel. And the puppy in the leaves picture just makes me want to take the kids for a walk.
Wow. That's beautiful. Makes me want to give up Seattle gloom. Oh wait, everything makes me want to give up Seattle gloom.
Mama Badger: Do it. Alex: Rest assured, the Vermont gloom will soon be upon us, a lot like Seattle gloom, but frozen. This momentary perfection is all part of the Vermont trap. It lulls us into complacency, so mesmerized we are by the aesthetic beauty, then, wham, you find yourself suffering through yet another endless, frigid, Vermont winter.
Oh, and did I mention, interesting jobs here are few and far between....
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures! I needed cheering up:)
Thank you so much, Betsy! I sure have missed the foliage.KiminAZ
Beautiful doesn't begin to describe it. And thanks for the giggle with the Cosby sweater reference!Amber
I remember the Huxtables!Yes, the world is too beautiful for words at this time of year - especially your corner of the world. And like you said, death can be beautiful, we just refuse to acknowledge it.Hugs to you and your girls.
They always remind me of a gorgeous afghan that I could just snuggle under. Thanks for sharing the gorgeousness. Unfortunately don't think we'll be making the trip this year (me getting there alone with three children was the sticking point). But now that we're in the vicinity (read, same continent), we'll probably at some point be making the rounds :).
Yes, I miss the fall in VT/upstate NY.Autum back there fills me with a sense of warmth satisfying hikes. I too am in Seattle and I seek fall colors whenever I can. Thanks for sharing Betsy, I have been reading your words for awhile and I love "tuning in," to your life in beautiful VT. Thanks!
